Cain Beach Cottage is not just somewhere to stay; it’s a place to relax on a romantic getaway or enjoy a family vacation. The secenery of Galiano Island surrounding the cottage is breath-taking. Our Galiano Island Cabin has a semi-waterfront location, situated so that the ocean can be seen through the trees to the east, with the beach across a simple country lane. Also, the forest around the cabin is teeming with life. Eagles fly over head, deer and otter can be seen living among the trees, and seals are down in the water. But there is far more to Galiano Island than the Cottage. You can enjoy the rest of the island by:
- Renting a kayak from Gulf Island Kayaking
- Touring the outer islands with Captain Nick on the converted fishboat Sporades
- Rent a Motor boat at Montague Harbour Marina to try your luck at fishing or to go sightseeing
- Swimming at the white shell beaches of Montague Harbour
- Exploring one of Galiano's five scenic parks
- Dining at upscale restaurants at the waterfront Galiano Inn or the lovely Woodstone Country Inn
