The scenery around our Galiano Island Cabin is breath-taking. The cottage is on a semi-waterfront location, with the beach across a simple country lane and the ocean is visible through the trees to the east. The forest on the island is full of life. Watch eagles soaring over the Galiano Island lodge, relax on the deck while you observe the deer and otter that live in the surround woods, or go down to the ocean where you can see the seals that live in the water. But there is far more to enjoy than just our Galiano Island Cottage. You can experience all the fun to be had around the Island by:
- Renting a kayak and exploring the coast of the island by paddle
- Touring the outer islands on the converted fishboat Sporades
- Rent a Motor boat at Montague Harbour Marina to try your luck at fishing or to go sightseeing
- Swimming at the white shell beaches of Montague Harbour
- Exploring one of Galiano's five scenic parks
- Dining at upscale restaurants at the waterfront Galiano Inn or the lovely Woodstone Country Inn
- Shopping in the local community

Should you decide that our cozy little Galiano Island lodge is not to your tastes, we have several other places you can visit instead. Close by is the Whaler Bay Lodge, a rustic Bed and Breakfast overlooking Cain Point. Or if you would prefer to put a bit more distance between you and the island, we have the StarDancer Yacht, which you can enjoy tied up at a dock, or take out on the ocean. If quick access to the wide open sea is not on your list of priorities, try out the Mahsahwe lodge. Situated on a nice piece of River-front property on the Wenatachee in Washington, this log cabin is only 20 miles away from the bustling town of Leavenworth.
